Terms of Service
Scripts From Clips (scriptsfromclips.com)
Operated by Workshops To Go, Inc.
Last updated: July 13, 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Workshops To Go, Inc. (doing business as Scripts From Clips). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Plain-English summaries are built in, but the whole document is binding.
1. What the service is
Scripts From Clips is a web tool that fetches the publicly available transcript of a short-form video link you provide (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube/Shorts), cleans it up, and — on paid plans — rewrites the script to feature a different product while preserving the original's structure, generates alternate hooks, and provides a teleprompter and saved script history.
The service is currently in beta. Features, limits, and pricing may change as we build.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 to use Scripts From Clips. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. One person per account — don't share logins or resell access.
3. Plans, billing, and trials
- Free tier: a limited number of transcripts per month, no card required.
- Paid plans: billed monthly through Stripe. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
- Free trials: if your plan includes a trial, you won't be charged until the trial ends. A payment method is required to start a trial. You can cancel any time during the trial and pay nothing.
- Founding member pricing: promotional rates offered during beta are locked in for as long as you keep your subscription active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, current pricing applies.
- Cancellation: cancel anytime from your account. You keep access through the end of the period you've paid for; no further charges after that.
We may change pricing for new billing periods with reasonable advance notice. Price changes never apply retroactively.
4. Refunds
If you're unhappy with a charge, email hello@scriptsfromclips.com within 7 days of that charge and we'll refund it in full.
Refunds apply to your most recent payment only — we don't refund earlier billing periods you've already used. Requests made more than 7 days after a charge aren't eligible, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. We may decline refunds where we see abuse of this policy (for example, repeatedly subscribing, using the service heavily, and requesting refunds).
5. Your content and how you use it
What you submit. You're responsible for the video links, product details, and label photos you submit. Only submit links to publicly available videos and product information you have the right to use.
What the tool produces. We don't claim ownership of the scripts the tool generates for you. To the extent we hold any rights in them, we assign them to you.
Your responsibility for the output — read this part. The tool restructures scripts derived from other creators' publicly available videos. How you use those scripts is up to you, and you're solely responsible for making sure your use complies with:
- copyright and other intellectual-property law (a transcript's underlying script may be protected; recreating someone's video word-for-word can infringe even if the product is different)
- the terms of the platforms you post on (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
- advertising and disclosure rules, including FTC requirements for affiliate and sponsored content
- accuracy of product claims — the tool is designed not to invent product claims, but you must verify every claim in your final script against the actual product before publishing
Scripts From Clips gives you a drafting tool, not legal clearance. If in doubt about a specific script, rewrite it in your own words or get advice.
AI-generated content. Rewrites are produced by an AI model. They may contain errors. Review everything before you use it.
6. Acceptable use
Don't:
- use the service for anything illegal, or to promote products that are illegal to sell or promote
- attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or access controls (including creating multiple accounts to evade free-tier limits)
- scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or provide automated third-party access to the service
- submit content designed to generate deceptive, defamatory, or fraudulent scripts
- interfere with the service's operation
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate you for violations, no refund. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll refund the unused portion of your current billing period.
7. Third-party services
Transcript fetching, AI rewriting, payments, and authentication rely on third-party providers. If a video's platform or our providers make a particular video unavailable (for example, a video with no captions), we can't transcribe it — that's a limitation of the source, not a defect in the service.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any script will perform well, go viral, or generate sales or commissions. Results depend on many factors outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workshops To Go, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose (or $15 if you've paid nothing).
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you submitted or scripts you published, you agree to cover the costs and damages arising from that claim.
11. Changes to the service and these terms
We're in active development and the service will evolve. We may update these terms; if we make material changes, we'll update the date above and take reasonable steps to notify account holders. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
